Kaye Grogan

I  am a freelance writer residing in the beautiful state of Virginia. I write Op-eds for Newsbull.com, OpinionEditorials.com, RenewAmerica.us, and several other sites, and local newspapers.  For years I have been outspoken politically, and I am known around town as a woman not afraid to speak her mind.  For years I have generated lively debates with my commentary called "Viewpoint" on a local radio station for over 10 years, between the liberals and conservatives. 

I am married to my wonderful husband Burton.  We have two lovely daughters and five beautiful grandchildren.  But I can tell you as a young grandmother, I am not ready for a rocking chair by a long shot!

I have one published book, many published poems, and I have been featured in a popular national woman's magazine.  I am co-writing a book with Jim Nicholson host of "America Speaks" and also working on a "Prayer" book that is near completion.

While writing is my first love, I also love photography.  Writing is something the writer creates--while photography is a challege to capture things that have already been created that will be pleasing to the eye.  I have won photography contests all over the world. 

 

I am a four year Navy Veteran. I served from 1960-1964. I received my formal education at Piedmont Bible College, Winston Salem, NC. I spent 25 years in the religious publishing business. Eight years working for another company, and 17 years as founder and President of Sunday School Outreach, Inc.. I developed "Attendance Building Programs," which were used by more than 17,000 Churches. My background is in Sales and a Seminar Speaker. I started doing "America Speaks" talk radio on October 15, 2002. At one point I was doing six programs a week.

I have been married to the beautiful Jennette Hilliard Nicholson for 44 years. We have four lovely children and ten beautiful grandchildren. We reside in the beautiful state of Virginia. I fight the battles I fight, because I want my grandchildren and yours to grow up in an America that exalts Christ, and honors the Flag!

Currently I am co-authoring a book with Kaye Grogan, that shines the light on the forces of evil in America. It is up to all "godly" Americans to take a stand! Kaye and I believe that God caused our paths to cross in order to write this book, and fight the good fight for Good over Evil! On July 2, 2006 
 

On July 2, 2006 I was honored to receive a "Doctorate of Ministry" degree from the Piedmont College of Theology recognizing my 17 years in the Religious Publishing Business.   I was a little emotional while hearing the  President of the College describe the ministry I had with churches for 17 years .  It brought back some very good memories and some tough times as well!  But the good far outweighed the bad. I will always cherish this special  period in my life.
