Birth of a Nation!

On June 11, 1776, five men I call "the Architects of Freedom," were appointed to draft the Declaration of Independence, by special decree of the Continental Congress. Independence was about to become a reality as these five men composed the written structure which has become the foundation of America’s Freedom! These men were: Benjamin Franklin, (January 17, 1706 –April 17, 1790), John Adams, (October 30, 1735 – July 4, 1826), Thomas Jefferson, (April 13, 1743 – July 4, 1826), Robert Livingston, (November 27, 1746 – February 26, 1813), and Roger Sherman, (April 19, 1721 – July 23, 1793). Notice John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died on the same day, same year and Roger Sherman also died in July, which I think defies the "Law of Probability!"

I wrote this prayer for our Nation in 1976: God give us men who in the Spirit of these "Architects of Freedom," will carry on the leadership and responsibility of our nation, that America will always be free, that men may live out their lives in peace and the pursuit of happiness-- so long as time exists. In Christ name we pray. Amen! This is still my prayer for our nation!

The following is from the Declaration of Independence:

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.—That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to altar or to abolish it, and to institute new Government.



My fellow Americans, this is part of the Declaration of Independence! We owe our heritage to these brave men of faith and patriotism! As we study our American history, we find meetings were opened in prayer. God and Jesus were prominent in their lives and the very foundation of our great nation! Patrick Henry said "America was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ!" Are there any of you who doubt this? If you do you need to go back and refresh yourself on American history, which is indeed rich with foundations built on faith!

I treasure freedom, and I stand ready to fight till the last breath for America’s freedom! I have zero tolerance for cowards who take advantage of the freedoms paid for by the blood of more than one million Americans, and will not stand up to protect our nation!

I’m thrilled to celebrate America’s 230th birthday. However, I’m not thrilled by those who profess to love God and the Flag, yet are allowing our nation to deteriorate spiritually and morally! In the last couple of weeks we have watched as our Senate failed to support a Constitutional Amendment recognizing marriage (only) between a man and a woman! 48 Republicans voted for the amendment along with one lone Democrat. Six Republicans voted "nay" along with the rest of the Democrats, and one Independent. What else would you expect from the party who is concerned (mostly) about supporting a woman’s reproductive rights–allowing her to murder her unborn child and showed it when the last two Supreme Court nominees were interrogated?

This week the Senate also failed by one vote to send a Constitutional Amendment forward banning desecration of the flag, trying to hide behind the First Amendment. The First Amendment does not support flag burning rights.

I’m thankful for those who have gone before us, blazing the trail of freedom! We must follow in their steps or we shall lose more than we have lost already. When you see something that you believe is harmful to our great nation, let your voices be heard loud and clear in opposition! You can make a difference!

                                        Finally . . . Two Courts Got it Right!

In Atlanta, the State Supreme Court reinstated Georgia’s constitutional ban on gay marriage, Thursday, July 6, just hours after New York’s highest court upheld that state’s gay-marriage ban.

The Georgia Supreme Court, reversing a lower court judge’s ruling, decided unanimously that the ban did not violate the state’s single-subject rule for ballot measures. Superior Court Judge Constance Russell of Fulton County had ruled it did.

Seventy-six percent of Georgia voters approved the ban when it was on the ballot in 2004.

New York’s highest court ruled Thursday that gay marriage is not allowed. In a 4-2 decision, said New York’s marriage law is constitutional and clearly between a man and woman.

"It’s a sad day for New York families," said plaintiff Kathy Burke of Schenectady, 11-year-old son with her partner, Tonja Alvis. "My family deserves the same as the next door neighbors."

Well, Kathy how about your son’s rights to be raised by a Mother and Father, instead of two perverted women? What do you think about that? The Gays and Lesbians have been trying to have their lifestyle accepted by normal folks, by claiming it is "genetic-normal, just another lifestyle!" They want your 5 year-olds to be taught this in kindergarten. They want the same rights and privileges afforded to married men and women. This would include hospitalization insurance for the live in lover, and all other rights afforded to married people. Theirs is a perverted lifestyle, an abomination according to the Bible. Since God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of Homosexuality, what makes anyone think He has changed His mind or that He would create a person with the genetic make up to be a homosexual, when He has condemned this perverted lifestyle in His Word. Since God is Just, and does not Change, there is no foundation for this argument!

Make no mistake about it: "The Homosexual Agenda!" is one that would infringe on your freedoms starting with the teaching of your precious five-year-olds in kindergarten! We are already seeing this happen! Sadly the left winged liberal activist courts have ruled in their favor far too many times! The most erroneous ruling was two years ago in Massachusetts in a 4-3 ruling by that state’s Supreme Court, that it is "unconstitutional," not to allow same sex marriage! The case was brought and won by an organization called GLAD, (Gays Lesbians Advocates and Defenders).

The Homosexuals are able to accomplish their objectives through liberal left winged activist courts, by having laws declared "unconstitutional," that would never pass any state’s legislature or the U.S. Congress and Senate, yet America has stood by while this is happening!

Why America? Why? You need to let your voice be heard on the side of Good Vs Evil! This constitutional amendment will stop left winged liberal activist judges from interfering by legislating from the bench and leave it to the voters to decide on the issues that affect all of us..

Listen to this: since the Massachusetts ruling, about a dozen states have approved the constitutional ban on same sex marriage, and 19 now outlaw it. There is a push in Massachusetts for a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage.

When 70 to 80 percent of America is against same sex marriage we should win hands down. Once again I commend these two courts for getting it right!

You need to contact your Congressman, U.S. Senators, and state representatives voicing your STRONG OPPOSITION to same sex marriage and the teaching of homosexuality as genetic, normal just another lifestyle in the public schools starting in kindergarten!

Your children and grandchildren are too precious! Stand up! Get in the battle! There is no victory without a battle! God bless you!
